Once You're Here

There are many options for getting around downtown D.C., including the Metro, cabUber, and Capital Bikeshare (Bradley's favorite).

Airports

D.C. is served by three airports.  Reagan National (DCA) is the closest and is easily accessible to the downtown hotels via the Metro or a 15-20 minute cab ride.  Washington Dulles (IAD) is about a 45-minute cab ride from downtown D.C. (depending on traffic) and is also accessible via the Metro's Silver Line Express Bus.  Baltimore Washington International (BWI) is about an hour from downtown by cab. It is served by the MARC commuter train, which connects to the Metro's red line at Union Station.  Bonus: BWI is served by our favorite airline, Southwest!

Train

We love Amtrak for traveling up and down the east coast!  There are many trains each day, making this a great and easy choice for guests coming from Boston, New York, or Philadelphia.  You can even take it straight to our wedding venue!

Bus

Downtown D.C. is served by a variety of bus lines including Bolt and Megabus.  Tripper and Vamoose are also great, inexpensive options that serve suburban Maryland and Virginia locations to and from New York City.
